Beltona Tenor Resonator Ukulele The Songster #2 Redburst Finish
This baby is one of the famous Beltona Songster #2 resonator ukuleles. This curvy, moody looking cutaway shaped tenor resonator ukulele is made of a moulded fibreglass-reinforced resin with a lightweight aluminium coverplate.
Beltonas are lighter than traditional resonators but are famed for having all of the tone and body of a traditional brass instrument. They weigh on average 35% less but are no half measure uke as they have a mahogany neck and Indian rosewood fingerboard. They are made here in the UK by Steve Evans who has been one of the worlds premier resonator builders worldwide for 2 decades.
We have stocked handfuls of Beltona ukuleles over the years but this batch is the first in a while as we patiently waited for Steve to work through his exhaustive waiting list. For custom commissions, you should make contact with Steve directly but if you want the very instrument photographed here without the long wait then please do add it to your cart or arrange to pay us a visit.
This tenor ukulele is finished in stunning redburst. Pictures show actual instrument you will receive. Some small pits and marks to the finish are to be expected owing to the way that these are made, and the highly revealing nature of the high gloss finish. Please do not expect complete cosmetic perfection! Please note that you can see lots of light reflections in the photos - any cosmetic pits and dinks are small and only show up under close scrutiny.
