What an extraordinary instrument. This is basically a tenor guitar slightly modified to take nylon strings instead of steel in Baritone ukulele DGBE tuning, and it sounds absolutely wonderful! Imagine the biggest, best and most mellow sounding Baritone that you have heard, add more volume, sustain, precise intonation and crisper note definition and you might be half way there.

This second hand instrument is in good but definitely used condition - 7/10. If you look at the instrument in certain lights, you will see some unavoidable marks and a couple of small dings. Nothing to suggest the instrument hasn't been looked after but it is clear that this instrument has seen some things man! This BN20 has had a Headway active pickup installed which sounds great although the end pin button is just slightly off centre.

Solid spruce and solid mahogany is one of the classic fretted instrument wood combinations - the spruce provides a really rounded, solid punchy sound, whilst the mahogany lends a degree of mellow refinement. In harmony it is a wonderful combination which sounds great played in any style.
