Details

The Rebel all solid spruce and mahogany soprano ukulele is a real winner for us. It's sensational in its simplicity. The double cheese has no binding or fancy cosmetic detail except for the geometric-esque fret dots. You are paying for a well finished ukulele made of good select woods with good hardware and one strum really brings that home. This ukulele is loud and clear without being too ferocious like some spruce top ukes.

Phil and I fell madly in love with Rebel at the 2019 NAMM show and we were delighted to be able to share the Rebel experience with our colleagues and customers when opening the delivery for the first time. There isn't a bad or mediocre ukulele in the range - just well made ukes you will want to play every time you open the bag.

This is one of the most bombastic and vibrant sounding soprano ukuleles, a little like the spruce topped opio, but with just that little bit more oomph and treble bark in the sound. But, it is not a thin sound by any stretch - far from it. Very full, very resonant and very lovely.

Sure, the bag is a bit flamboyant and won't be to everyone's taste - but at least you'll always know where you put your Rebel!
