With their quirky name, Snail continually release fantastic ukuleles that punch well above their weight for their price range. The only thing missing from the brand was a good selection of woods to choose from. Well, not any more.

The SUC-M3 and SUT-M3 are some of the most popular solid wood instruments under £500 available here at SUS. Snail's decision to introduce solid top cedar and spruce models had us all eager to open the box.

This Snail tenor ukulele comes with a solid spruce top and laminated figured ebony back and sides. It has a slotted headstock, unbranded but very sturdy. You get accurate machineheads, a clean and clinical looking gloss finish and a crisp, clear and dynamic sound.

As we've come to expect from Snail ukes, this instrument is very light in your hands and basic chords ring out and sound fantastic.
