Magic Fluke continue to innovate with the brand new Tenor Firefly. This Banjo Ukulele has all the mojo and quirkiness you would expect from a Magic Fluke instrument but with a functional, comfortable and most importantly - tunable internal steel tone ring. The maple wooden outer rim/pot is a fantastic nod to the past giving the instrument a bit more of a vintage Banjo Ukulele look whilst remaining lightweight in the hands and comfortable against the chest.

I had the pleasure of trying the prototype at NAMM 2017 and it blew me away. So often Magic Flukes instruments can look quirky in such a way that a more traditional player may not give them as much of a chance. This new Tenor design is a fantastic way of introducing one of the best USA manufactures to an even larger audience. If you want a Banjo Ukulele sound, made well and with its own eccentricities the Magic Fluke have got you covered.
This one has a few dinks to the body, where your arm would go over the rim, but apart from those is in good condition all over.
