Details

''Honu'' is Hawaiian for turtle and like the Honu ukulele, the Hawaiian sea turtle is a creature of emotion, grace, and longevity. Playing your Honu ukulele will take you to the shores of the Islands of Hawaii where the Honu can be seen swimming to the sweet music of the ukulele. The Koa wood is harvested, cut, and milled on the Big Island of Hawaii.

A truly great alternative to the K brands - the H-KRP-TR is brighter and bubblier than many other Tenors and has incredible clarity between the strings. Perfect for finger pickers and for the strummer that would prefer a less boomy sound. This used one has some marks all over - little worm marks near the bridge where the instrument has been restrung, and some dinks and dents all over the body, and a little wear to the fretboard in the first position, so please do not expect a pristine instrument. It is a 7/10 cosmetically, but it has loads of life left in it for the next owner!
