USED Maestro UT-CO All Solid Cedar & Cocobolo Tenor Ukulele w/MiSi Pickup

This used Maestro tenor ukulele is a great reminder for us here at SUS what we have been missing the past couple of years. Maestro are a Singapore based company that produce limited run bespoke ukuleles and guitars. The body shape is slightly quirky and there is a real emphasis on using premium tonewoods for each ukulele.

The UT-CO is the perfect example of depth and volume not being mutually exclusive on the ukulele. There is a real warmth here not usually associated with western red cedar or cocobolo and yet its here in all its glory.

The body is aesthetically pleasing with lots of ergonomic design touches and 'sharp' edges. This tenor uke kind of looks like an artist drew a normal ukulele and let their imagination run wild.

Cedar is a champion ukulele tonewood because it holds most of the sexy frequencies we like and reproduces them loud and clear for an audience to hear. Cocobolo is itself a fantastic alternative to rosewood with a lovely low end response and faithful reproduction of more nuanced playing.

This ukulele also comes with a MiSi pickup which was originally fitted by Matt at World of Ukes in Carlisle. The condition is about 8/10 with some signs of playwear inevitable on such a delicately finished instrument.
