So many great ideas started by building on perfection.. It is fair to say that reimagining the Ukulele is a brave task and Romero Creations deserve a pat on the back for taking the traditional style and building design of the Ukulele back to the drawing board and compressing and reworking some key components to work in our modern day 'space saving' lives.
The Tiny Tenor is everything you want from a Tenor in feel but reduced in size and build to fit into spaces previously only a Concert would reach. The reduction at the headstock gives the illusion of more space at the top of the neck and the topsy-turvy body design will probably not be to every players taste however, those that like Pineapple Ukuleles with the Ditson like tightness in the bass will agree that this Ukulele has a fantastically clean and honest sound.
This model is part of Romero Creations new Chinese made range and features a Solid Spruce top with laminate Mahogany back and sides and a satin finish. In the same vein as Japanese made Ukuleles like Kiwaya and Takumi; these Romero instruments have a mellow nature and would be perfect for somebody looking to play sleepy melodies to themselves with all the nuance and precision normally associated with a louder instrument.
