This is another very clever instrument from the Pepe Romero stable. Although a concert size instrument with a standard 15" concert scale, it has the sound and dynamics of a Tenor. You can see that they have made the body deeper, and enlarged the bottom bout to give extra richness and power to the sound. And the choice of solid mahogany helps to fill out the bass reponse to make it sound very much like a Tenor, but with concert scale feel.
In the hand it feels very special indeed; nice and light, and you can see from the fit and finish that time and care was taken over its construction. It has that little bit of magic sauce, this one.
