Get excited, we're absolutely delighted to be able to bring you this limited edition, red label KoAloha
concert ukulele. To celebrate their silver, 25th anniversary, KoAloha have cooked up something really special and we're very lucky to be able to pass this stunning ukulele on to one of you.
This high grade Hawaiian koa concert feels lighter and more balanced in the hand than a standard KoAloha. It has a more conventional ladder bracing pattern under the top which creates a smoother, more traditional and less extrovert sound than traditional KoAlohas. The team at KoAloha are only producing around 30 of these models in concert and tenor size, so don't miss out.
These ukuleles are unique in the
KoAloha line in that they have a thin abalone rosette around the soundhole and front figured ebony binding. The headstock features the KoAloha custom logo and Gotoh planetary tuners in place of the usual Der Jung friction tuners and finally the fretboard inlays commemorate the anniversary with a tasteful roman numeral inlay among the usual abalone dots.
Pictures show actual instrument. Owing to the fact that no grain filler is used, and the gloss finish is applied onto open pore wood, you can find small features and inconsistencies in the finish if you go looking for them under bright lights. This is typical of all KoAloha instruments, and is just part of their character.
