The Kala KA SMHCE-C concert ukulele comes with a very classy cutaway. This electro acoustic ukulele is made of solid mahogany and sounds as good as it looks.

The mahogany, as you would expect, is mellow and rich sounding, with a real warmth to the lows and mids. The treble works well to cut through and balance the sound nicely, but do not expect the brightness and immediacy of something like koa or spruce.

Being all solid wood construction, the harmonics this makes are very complex and delightful on the ear, the sustain is lengthy, ad the playing and listening experience a very satisfying one.
