aNueNue T3E Solid Mahogany Top Tenor Electro Acoustic Ukulele with gigbag

This beautiful tenor ukulele is part of the new Hawaiian Dream series from aNueNue. I am really impressed with everything about this uke at the price - the neck feels really intuitive, the solid top makes a crystal clear, balanced, warm and luscious acoustic sound, the build quality is as good as it gets, and the gigbag it comes with is lovely.

This model, the T3E, is the same as the T3 but with the addition of aNueNue's clever mini U active pickup system with soundhole mounted volume control. This is a decent system which is well worth the very small upcharge over the acoustic version - whilst not the most fully featured and transparent sounding pickup available, for an additional £30 you can't really grumble!

Electro acoustic tenors at this price can be a bit of a mixed bag. Some big name brands offer very fancy looking laminate wood ukes which look a million dollars but leave a little behind in the acoustic sound stakes. aNueNue take a much different approach - use a plainer, more cost effective solid tonewood top and focus on the sound. Boy, has this paid off. With a nod to the Kai tenors, I am struggling to think of a better sounding tenor at the money.
