One very lucky customer can become the new owner of this 2012 Pete Howlett solid koa tenor ukulele. 

Pete's work needs very little introduction! He has made some of the finest ukuleles from some of the best materials in his workshop with a view of Snowdon in Wales. This one is built from solid koa from the Big Island of Hawaii with a very light gloss finish, allowing as much of the depth and complexity in the sound of the Koa to come through. 

This tenor ukulele sounds and feels as good as it looks. Pete has the knack of making necks feel so comfortable in the hand in all positions, it just invites the player to get stuck in. Even in extreme positions at the dusty end, it responds with a lustrous and full response, with no drop in sustain or volume and impressive intonation. This is a trick that is very, very hard to pull off, and can only be achieved by experienced, skilled builders at the top of their game.

The pre-owned ukulele is in excellent condition considering it is a 2012 model with a few surface scratches and signs of having been played, with one ding in the top (pictured). It's rare and it's lovely - I would be very surprised if we see another one.
