Description

Details

Made in China, these are the intermediate level Kanile'a. Made to the same exacting standards as the expensive Hawaiian koa models, these Islanders have a unique charm all of their own. The mahogany wood gives a very good frequency response, lovely full bass combined with a very balanced treble. Certainly a cut above other Tenors at the same price!

One of the most attractive things about this model is the slightly wider than normal fretboard, which at 1.5 inches or 38mm at the nut makes getting your fingers into the right shapes an absolute doddle. Combine that width with a very slinky neck profile and you have a very easy to play instrument.
