We have nothing but love with the Millar TM-260WG all solid mahogany tenor ukulele. It is so warm and comforting that I am fairly sure just having it in your home would save on your heating bill this winter.

From their family run workshop in Taiwan, Millar are really pushing the boat out. They're changing our expectations for ukuleles at this price point and delivering instruments that look and feel similar to Big Island, Pono and Imua. Their attention to detail, wood selection and excellent craftsmanship places them as worthy competition to the Rebels and Opios of the world - not something we say lightly!

The TM-260WG loosely resembles the original Nunes ukuleles. With its gorgeous front, back and rosette contrasting rope binding and that stark binding against the dark smoky hues of the mahogany is just cool in a way other ukuleles wish they could be!

It sounds softer, warmer and more introverted than the other Millars. It would really suit someone who wants an instrument suited to ballads or chord work. It sounds lovely and bright when you strum with your finger nail but comes to life in a jazzy sort of way when you ease into it with your thumb and the pads of your fingers.

The ukulele pictured in this listing is of the actual instrument you will receive. You may have noticed we rave about the Millar Ukuleles in our video because they offer something that really exceeds the playability and sound you would normally expect at this price.

However, each one is made by an extremely small production team in Taiwan and small cosmetic imperfections around the body are almost inevitable. We always make sure to list the big ones but smaller ones or polishing marks in high gloss finish are an unavoidable side effect of getting something so special in other ways at this price.
