Millar TA-240 All Solid Acacia Concert Matte Finish Ukulele #2

Millar have a family run workshop of builders in Taiwan and they're creating some awe inspiring instruments. They're completely pushing the limits of what you can expect from a ukulele at this price point. You get something that feels like a Pono, Big Island or Imua ukulele. The woods chosen and clear attention to detail really enhance these cracking little instruments.

The TA-240 is an understated concert ukulele made of solid acacia with a matte finish, Indian rosewood fingerboard and tie on bridge. The neck shape on the concerts is slim and very modern feeling with a 35mm nut width. The sound is slightly mellower and more open sounding than it's glossy sister model, the TA-240G - the gloss on the TA-240G makes it a lot brighter than this smooth and creamy sounding Matte concert.
