Elise Ecklund is a bit of a social media tour de force blending music and comedy with a genuine and relatable journey through learning the ukulele in her formative years. In many way, Elise has been the face of Flight throughout the companies sudden growth and rise in popularity.

It shouldn't surprise you that Flight Music and Elise Ecklund join forces again, treating the uke-playing world to the City Signature concert ukulele. This single-cutaway model comes emblazoned with the lush and compelling skyline of an imagined city composed of blues, golds, and turquoise, which Elise says is directly inspired by all the cities that she has visited, and all of the cities she dreams of visiting.

Beyond the printed graphic is a laminate spruce/okoume ukulele that plays very well and sounds deceptively rich, it comes including a special edition black padded gig bag, stickers, and a handy 'Getting Started' instruction booklet. It's undeniably a great choice for a beginner who wants a splash of colour without compromising on quality.

The concert sized body sits in that sweet middle ground between the smaller soprano and the larger tenor, making the City ukulele a particularly comfortable choice if you're picking up the instrument for the first time.

The spruce soundboard has been coupled with an okoume back and sides for balanced acoustic sound packed with full warmth, brightness, and clarity, and what's somewhat surprising considering the price of this model is that both the 35mm-wide nut and the saddle are made of bone. This deluxe touch ensures excellent vibrational transfer as well as more stable intonation.

Flight have coupled the build and detailing with a set of pre-installed Aquila Super Nylgut strings so you're immediately assured of great playability.
