This Big Island electric ukulele is a real stunner. Just look at this fantastic bit of kit!

The electric bass ukulele is a solid, heavyweight instrument with real bass mojo. It's the heaviest bass ukulele that we've ever stocked and it feels pretty indestructible in the hand. It has a nice wide neck too. This means you have the space to slap, tap and pop while you play.

The magnetic pickup gives a really authentically bass guitar kind of sound, so banish thoughts of the low woody thump you get with hollowbody uBass type instruments. Think instead of a brighter, more contemporary tone. There's also tone control on board, so you can dial in more or less treble as you see fit. However, you won't be able to dial the sharper attack that you get out of the sound.

The one shown in the photos is a good representation of average Big Island electric ukulele. Although, each one will vary a little in appearance, but you're very welcome to contact us for pictures of all the electric bass ukuleles we have in stock from Big Island.
