Snail have introduced a stunning range of baritone ukuleles with slotted headstocks that we know you're going to love just as much as we do.

This Snail baritone ukulele comes with a solid spruce top and laminated figured ebony back and sides. It has a slotted headstock, with some gorgeous heart shaped tuners that are unbranded but very sturdy. You get accurate machineheads, a clean and clinical looking gloss finish and a crisp, clear and dynamic sound.

As we've come to expect from Snail ukes, this instrument is very light in your hands and basic chords ring out and sound fantastic. We restrung this ukulele with D'Addario Titaniums baritone ukulele strings to really add the definition and smooth deep tones people have long associated with the baritone. This ukulele is a real game changer in the baritone ukulele world.

The 35mm nut width with the elongated C shape neck will feel familiar in the hands of ukulele players familiar with concerts and tenors and the lightness, tightness of sound and smooth nature is the perfect example of how a baritone ukulele can be a deluxe Ukulele and not just a poor mans guitar.

This first batch of Snail Baritones have arrived from the factory with a set of high G GCEA baritone strings fitted. If you would like it strung DGBE for dispatch then please do order the strings with your Ukulele and let us know.

The BHC-5T was first introduced in 2017 and fast became one of our most popular ukuleles... We gushed about how much ukulele it offered for the price and the extremely mature and textured sound that the spruce top produced.

With their quirky name, Snail continually release fantastic ukuleles that punch well above their weight for their price range. The only thing missing from the brand was a good selection of Baritone Ukuleles to choose from, thankfully this is no longer the case.
