Whilst warm sounding, you experience great clarity and definition in the sound, and a real brightness in the treble register when playing energetically up the neck. This is a characteristic which really sets good quality solid Mango instruments apart from more traditional tonewoods like Mahogany and Acacia family.

The build quality is nothing short of world class. The facility in Thailand where these are made is a tightly run ship, and the head man over there knows exactly what he is doing. In fact all their team are fantastic at what they do. 2022 Rebels benefit from a different type of gloss finish which seems to be thinner and more 'woody' sounding.
