So many great ideas started by building on perfection and this Romero Creations grand tenor ukulele does just that.

It is fair to say Romero Creations are a brand striving to improve the wheel. The tiny tenor and replica designs are stunning pieces of useable art but the big daddy of them all right now is the grand tenor ukulele. The koa, mahogany, and mango grand tenor designs have been a staple here at SUS for a couple of years and are a Vietnamese made range of jumbo tenor ukuleles.

They've paired a traditional 17'' scale length with a scaled down headstock and jumbo body about 33% bigger than a normal tenor. They sound rich, full, deep, bombastic and capture the imagination of those that play them. It was only a matter of time before Romero Creations brought the grand tenor design to the more affordable Chinese made wing of the Romero Creations catalogue.

This model is part of Romero Creations Chinese made range and features a solid spruce top with laminate mahogany back and sides and a satin finish. They would be perfect for somebody looking to play sleepy melodies to themselves with all the nuance and precision normally associated with a conventional tenor instrument but with an added depth and texture not found on other ukuleles at this price.

We are reducing the price of these Chinese made grand tenors by 10% to clear through the last of the stock. Although they are fundamentally well made, there may well be some small cosmetic issues with the finish. Pictures show an average example.
