This OulCraft custom tenor ukulele has a gorgeously tuneful western red cedar top and Indian rosewood back and sides. There is just nothing on earth like the sound of cedar and rosewood together. The best classical guitars of all time have all been made of a wood variation either identical or on the same tonal page as this one. We wanted so badly to give ukulele players an instrument capable of so much expression, and now we can.

Cedar is so dynamic and offers the kind of resonant bass and warmer tones so often missing from the tenor ukulele. It's the wood version of an Oscar winning best actor, it is capable of making you feel things you didn't know you could feel. The rosewood back and sides, well... they are the perfect stage for that actor to perform amplifying the little nuances and quirks in your playing along the way.

Of course, if you love the number #53 tenor, you could always fall in love with it's sister ukulele number #52 as well. A matching pair of ukuleles as fine as anything we have seen before now. Hearing a good player play them is going to be a religious experience to those that long for a ukulele sound more direct and confident than the traditional popular ukulele woods like acacia and koa.
