Ohana are smart cookies, and we love their new electro acoustic tenor ukulele. The TK50WG and TK70G have been popular tenor ukuleles for as far back as I can remember... It is a logical step to take the best features of these models and produce an affordable, practical ukulele that a gigging musician can really get behind.

The TK-70WGCE has a solid spruce top, very sexy laminate willow back and sides, a cutaway and Ohana's undersaddle piezo pickup system... I know right! Exactly what many of you have been after.

There is a lot of competition at this price point with the likes of Kala, Snail and Freshman each offering premium solid top ukuleles, many with pickups. So, you are probably debating what sets the Ohana apart?

Well, this Ohana tenor ukulele is very lightly built and feel just a tad more traditional and delicate than the Kalas and Freshmans of this world. Snails are not dissimilar but Ohana can definitely boast being the only one currently out there with such pretty back and sides and the cutaway! This willow looks as nice as this uke sounds too, which is a real selling point for us.
