The new SK70WG Ohana soprano ukulele is very similar style to its sisters, the SK50s which have a cedar top. This one uses spruce, so expect a little more immediacy and crispness in the treble, and a brighter tone.
Like all Ohana sopranos, it has very decent volume and projection, and very good finish for the price point. And like Ohanas, it feels nice and balanced in the hand, a real players instrument.
It's also impossible not to love the laminate willow back and sides... Even after 10+ years of selling Ohanas with this wood, we love them every time.
