Here we have a wonderful sounding Tenor, with a superb, mellifluous voice. The white cedar top is the engine behind this voice and sounds so smooth and refined, whether strummed or picked. Strumming sounds simply beautiful with a warm, harp like attack to each strum.

As with all Marshall's instruments, the finish is a little less than perfect, but the fundamentals of the build are excellent. He deliberately does not spend too much time finishing instruments as this would add significantly to the cost - so please expect cosmetic marks.

Now - the eagle eyed amongst you will have noticed that the very final two frets, the 18th and 19th, have been set at a very, very slight angle and are not perfectly straight. Marshall is a lovely human being and was mortified when I pointed this out to him - however, we feel that it does not really affect the playing of the instrument in that the notes still intonate and ring out as well as could reasonably be expected.

For this reason, we are offering a £50 reduction on the retail price of £850. So if you want a totally unique instrument with bags of character, at a nice price, look no further!
