Kala KA-ZCT-B Laminate Ziricote Baritone Ukulele

We're big fans of the new all laminate ziricote baritone ukulele from Kala. Ziricote is one of the most visually stunning woods, with great variegation between the sapwood and heartwood.

Tonally, like all laminate ukuleles, it will have a slightly less impressive sound than a solid wood ukulele, but the tone that it makes is nice and sweet and sounds very nice strummed or picked. And like most Kala ukes these days, the intonation is decent without being absolutely perfect, the finish is very good and the neck feels nice in the hand.

The Kala baritone ukulele shown is a good representation of average. Each one will be slightly different but there please note that from 2022 - Kala are no longer sending us these ukuleles with the orange sapwood streak on the body. Our photo shows a typical example as of early 2022.
