Kala KA-SA-TE Solid Acacia Electro Acoustic Tenor Ukulele

Here is another model that is exclusive to SUS in the UK! All solid acacia with a satin finish makes for a very versatile sound which many will be familiar with already from the Kala KA-ASAC (now KA-SA) family of instruments from Kala. These have been amongst our best selling lines for years and years now, and represent the best that the Kala factories in China offer.

This model, like its cutaway sister model the ASAC-TE/C, has an active Shadow pickup/preamp system which makes it a great recording or gigging tool. Traditionalists who prefer fuller bodies as opposed to cutaway bodies will prefer the look of this one. The light Maple binding is a nice contrast to the darker acacia wood, and sets off the Walnut used on the bridge and fretboard as well. Walnut is being used now on most of the instruments in the Kala range in place of Rosewood, as it is a more sustainable wood than Rosewood.
