Here we have a truly interesting Flight ukulele. Flight are a ukulele brand with a prevalent reputation and an endless list of internet ukulele stars on their roster list. A Mustang was the first Flight uke we ever saw in the flesh when a customer came in to show us. We liked it enough to become a Flight dealer ourselves just a few days later!

It has to be said that the Flight Mustang tenor ukulele is pretty cool! It is all solid acacia (slightly tinted) that gives off more of a koa aesthetic than most acacia and even has an acacia fingerboard which I don't think I have ever seen before.

The Mustang features a very retro-futuristic slotted headstock that weighs next to nothing that really impressed us. The tuners are good and the upper fretboard can be reached thanks to a scoop style cutaway.

This newer version of the Mustang also comes with a padded branded Flight gigbag and the battery powered active Double pickup system, with the soundhole mounted tone and volume controls.

What Flight say...

Wild and free, only to be handled by true thrill seekers. Flight Mustang is a tenor-sized, all solid acacia ukulele with an infusion of red. It is packed with unique features: intricately designed side sound hole, scalloped cutaway, offset dots on an acacia fretboard with 38mm nut width, D’Addario strings and a unique and captivating headstock. It’s not just a ukulele… It’s a Mustang.

Note: Flight Ukuleles are a fantastic choice at this particular price point because they often offer extra features and striking wood that defy the expectations of this price. However, they do suffer from cosmetic flaws and small finish defects like other Chinese made production instruments. We do our best to capture major issues but you may find some small imperfections on close inspection that cannot be avoided.
