Breedlove Lu'au Solid Myrtle Top Electro Acoustic Tenor Ukulele

The Breedlove Lu'au acoustic tenor ukulele has a myrtle top and a fantastic sound. Breedlove have developed into a highly respected Orgeon based guitar manufacturer. They've dabbled in ukuleles in the past, but with the rise in popularity, we weren't surprised when their new uke range hit the market. What did surprise us was the unique designs, and budget conscious price range.

This Lu'au model has a solid myrtle top with laminate myrtle back and sides. It's got a very clean, high gloss finish and just some delightful figured wood with subtle shading to die for. You may also notice some very cool tortoiseshell binding throughout and maple/ebony purfling. The ebony fingerboard adds some tangible quality to this instrument that does elevate it above some of the Ohana, Kala and Ortega models in the same price category. You'd never be unhappy getting this ukulele out of its bag for a play.

It's nice to see Breedlove incorporate some of the more popular requests we get on ukuleles at the moment too. This has a satin neck on gloss body and a compact 35mm nut width! Great stuff Breedlove.
