Ex Demo Big Island EU-SMP-N Electric Concert Ukulele with gigbag

We're suitably impressed with this Big Island electric concert ukulele. Thanks to their growing popularity, lots of electric ukuleles are available, from Risa, IMUA, Pono and now Big Island have joined in.

Made in China, the electric concert ukulele is excellent value for money. They cost half the price of comparable models from Pono and IMUA! And, for the reduced price, you still get the Fishman Pro passive under saddle ukulele pickup. It also comes with a nice padded gig bag, and beautiful looking cuts of wood.

This model has a chambered body, like a lot of the electric ukuleles available today. This design makes them nice and light and ideal for stage use. Although, you're going to need some help to make noise when you're performing, as there's little acoustic volume. With only a simple volume control knob on board, you need an amp or pre-amp unit for your tone shaping. The Fishman pickup makes a good sound which does sound authentically ukulele-ish, not at all electric guitar like.

Pictures show actual instrument. This instrument is reduced to clear as an ex Demo instrument, but it is in excellent condition and only has a few very small marks, which are too small to show up in photos.
