The XS is a soprano ukulele with both a reduced headstock and body size. The reduction at the headstock gives the illusion of more space at the top of the neck and the topsy-turvy body design will probably not be to every players taste however, those that like pineapple ukuleles with the Ditson like tightness in the bass will agree that this ukulele has a fantastically clean and honest sound.

This model is part of Romero Creations new Chinese made range and features a solid spruce top with laminate mahogany back and sides and a satin finish. In the same vein as Japanese made ukuleles like Kiwaya and Takumi; these Romero instruments have a mellow nature and would be perfect for somebody looking to play sleepy melodies to themselves with all the nuance and precision normally associated with a louder instrument.
