Saturday 20th September saw the arrival of two of the nicest musicians we have had the privilege of hosting, Del Rey and Adam Franklin

When these two blues musicians woke up this morning, they woke up happy and stayed that way. Del started off proceedings with an hour and a half workshop based on an 1930's blues tune 'Bottle Up And Go'. In no time at all Del had the 30 strong attendees playing different parts and sounding like an authentic Jug Band. Del has a great way of teaching and gives clear and easy instructions.

After a short break, Del was joined by English blues man Adam Franklin. Both were armed with a ukulele resonator and a guitar resonator and switched effortlessly between the two. We were treated to 50 minutes of the finest picking, singing and showmanship ever to grace the store. If you get an opportunity to check either of them out, together or separately I strongly suggest you do.
