Happy new year from all of us at Southern Ukulele Store… I appreciate you probably get bombarded with salesy emails this time of year so I will avoid putting this in your inbox and send it to the phantom zone that is our website blog. I will keep it brief and share with you only the things you really want to know about!

Discount and Clearance
This morning, I added 30 instruments to our discount and clearance section. Some of the most popular brands and builders in the world feature with discounted ukes from Kanile'a, Kamaka, UKE-SA. Kala, AnueNue, Millar and more. Here are some of my personal highlights

Final Clearance TkiTki - 35% off Mastercrafted Mango Concert and Tenors

The TkiTki Custom Ukuleles first arrived around this time last year and immediately sold as they were basically offering something none of us had ever seen before; a vintage Martin build with sexy Mango wood... A more voluptuous sounding ukulele you simply won't find. The second delivery came in around the same time as the second batch of Kanile'a Manakos and sadly some models got a little bit forgotten about while we were talking about newer, shiny instruments. The TkiTki ukes are fantastic and now they are available at a price that makes them more affordable than the Hawaiian equivalent so hopefully someone will have a heart and take one home in 2022!

Final Clearance Kamoa - 30%+ off all solid Tenor Ukes

Kamoa Ukuleles are liked and widely used in Hawaii. The company themselves have a wonderful shop in Honolulu and produce models with their own name on that have travelled far and wide. Not unlike what we do here at SUS... We received a handful of new Kamoa models at the back end of last year that were already discounted because they were marked up in transit from Hawaii. Now we are basically giving them away at £289 as we make way for more ukes currently in production. All solid wood Ukuleles built for a Low G player who likes a big, deep sound. Lovely instruments albeit, a little bit rough and ready on the eye. CHECK THEM OUT BEFORE THEY ARE GONE FOREVER!

Flight Diana TE Special Offer just £189!

The Flight Diana TE is probably Flights most popular model, its affordable, packed full of features, look great and sound great... They were already cheaper than many of the popular alternatives.

For a limited time only, we will be reducing the price of this solid top Cedar Tenor to below £200.

Millar Back in stock and Custom Models on the way!
In the build up to Christmas we were jumping up and down on the spot waiting for Millars to arrive but because they are made by literally one lovely man called Eric in Taiwan with assistance from his brother, Mum and Dad; it took a bit longer than anybody was expecting. This week we finally received a smattering of all of the popular models in Concert and Tenor size. Phil took all of the different tonewoods for a test ride in the video below. Once you've watched it, check our full range here.

CHECK OUT MILLAR UKES HERE

We also announced on social media just after New Years the first of our collaborations for 2022. We have teamed up with Millar to produce special edition models for Phil, Gunsy and Alex here at Southern Ukulele Store. The first model is a hybrid of ideas from Alex and Matt from World of Ukes (our biggest rival and bestest friend). Check out this photo teaser for whats coming at the end of the month.

The last Kanile'a 2021 Platinum and a big restock on popular Kanile'a Koa models.
In a couple of weeks time Kanile'a will announce the 2022 Platinum model which draws a close to last years model. The 2021 Platinum was extremely innovative, a true sports car of the Uke world and we have one left that arrived late last year available. It is by no means an instrument you buy with your pocket money but if you want something at the ultra high end that you will never be able to buy again after its gone then this is worthy of your attention.

In addition, we received a handful of absolutely stunning Premium Koa Concerts and Tenors from Kanile'a this week which deserve to be seen... Hopefully I will be able to make a video about them before they all go. But if not, this image is definitely a good enough positive way to end this months newsletter!

Thanks everyone for reading, watching and for your positivity throughout 2021 and into 2022!
