Lizard Spit Fret Board Conditioner is possibly the highest quality fret board conditioner in the industry, due to it’s orange oil formula which has superior properties for cleaning and conditioning, compared to the more usual lemon oil.

A little of this goes a long way. Normally an Ebony or Rosewood (or similar porous wood) fretboard will only need conditioning every 6-12 months or so under normal humidity conditions. You can tell when the wood dries out and lightens in colour that it needs some conditioner. Normally a single droplet between each of the frets will be sufficient for that area of fretboard. Wipe away any excess and let it dry for a few minutes.
