Lani Ukulele

If you’re a beginner, it doesn’t make sense to play a Les Paul Gibson uke when you should be getting your hands on a Lani ukulele instead. You don’t need to be an expert to create great tunes on a Lani uke. All you need is some patience and the instrument will do the rest. Like most other companies, you can find Lani ukes in the four major sizes.

Lani ukes are known for their excellent construction. In fact, many reviews state that Lani have the ability create technically flawless ukes. Ukuleles are generally very messy when the fretboard meets the body and in the area around the sound hole. However, Lani ukes manage to join all the parts together seamlessly. There are few ukes that can match a Lani model in terms of playability. Although the main action takes place low on the Lani ukulele, it plays superbly all the way towards its neck. While some ukes have dead frets, such a problem does not exist with Lani models. The design is usually beautiful and most Lani ukes are made from a combination of Koa, rosewood and mahogany.

Some players don’t like the laminated versions of Lani ukes because they do not have the same high quality sound as wood ukes in the same price range. Many critics believe that better sound emanates from Ohana and Kala ukes but Lani models have greater attention to detail. You can find Lani soprano ukes on Southern Ukulele Store for around £60. They are made from solid spruce and have a great sound. Experts generally recommend non-laminated Lani ukuleles if you are looking for a superior sound. However, one thing you will get with Lani products is extraordinary works of ukulele art. More expensive Lani models are available for around £200 with some in electric format.
