Great quality little ukulele - a step up from the basic models in terms of sound, feel and tone. Laminate nato top, back and sides. Nato fretboard, 12 frets. Geared machine heads. Comes with Aquila Nylgut strings. The only difference between this model and the more expensive LU21 is cosmetic - this model does not have the binding around the body. But the sound is the same, for less money!
